Financial Independence and Freedom Is Invigorating.
Five years ago, numbingly, we watched the financial failures jolt the stress levels none of us would have dreamed we would see in our lifetimes. After all, the Depression of the 1930's was like non we had ever heard of and many historians assured us history would not repeat and we could be comfortable to know the Feds had laws, rules and plans in place... all this planning has made us realize we are vulnerable and history repeats itself with historical tweek.Yes, it has been five years since the financial moguls spiraled out of control or was it we the consumers consumed with spending splendor? Cautiously our friends, family and neighbors are slowly climbing out of the sand traps and sink holes we were slid into.
Baby boomers are retiring by the thousands. Home equity is or was considered to be one of the most secure nest egg saving resource of retirement savings available for many homeowners. Thankfully rising home prices are lifting underwater homeowners.
Not so many years ago statistics told us that we will sell our home and move on every 5-6. Change is here once again. New findings say sellers plan to move approximately every 15 years. Can this be???
Change moves us toward aggressive financial planning into the future. Loan preference of lenders is the adjustable arm. Remain watchful of the 30 year mortgage. I was told this type of loan may be phased out. Why you may ask? Investors that are "holding these mortgage packages" realize these packages are not wise investments. I guess I would agree with historic low 30 year interest rates. Low interest return on any investments would not be wise long term planning for anyone.
